MEDITATION

When our mind thinks, our body feels.  Each conscious thought creates physical feeling.  Therefore, even when we consider our physical body to relaxed, if our mind is full of thought and active, then the physical body is also still “active”.

Meditation trains the mind to be still.  It trains the mind to be free of thought.  Free of obligation, and free of responsibility.  It brings the focus of the mind into the “now”.  When the mind is fully in the moment, then it allows the physical body to truly let go and be still.

By learning simple meditation techniques, you can access your own natural peaceful state.  The natural state of you, once the layers of thought and obligation have been removed.

Allowing the mind and the body to work in harmony together, and so creating peace...

"However busy life gets, I always try to fit in one of Jo's yoga classes; the deep relaxation is very restorative and my posture and flexibility have really improved. Jo's refreshingly down-to-earth approach encourages everyone to progress at their own pace, and there's lots of laughter, too!"
