YOGA AND MEDITATION
Most people’s perception of yoga is that is it a sequence of impossible postures where the student is forced into uncomfortable positions! Fortunately, you will find that during my session, that is not the case.
The word “Yoga” means “to unite”, and during the practise, I will teach you how to unite the three components of the human body: The mind, the physical body, and the breath. When all three are harmonised, you will feel a sensation of balance and calm in the body as a whole. During the session you will learn how to breathe correctly, how to meditate and how to adapt the physical postures (asanas) in order that you can work to your own ability at all times.
There is no competition. Most importantly, I will encourage you to take the tools that you learn from the session out into your “real world”, so that you can cope more appropriately with life’s every day stresses.
If you would like more information on how the classes run and what to expect, then please contact me.

"I get so much from Jo's method of teaching - sometimes I come away feeling energized, sometimes relaxed & floating, other times well stretched, but always peaceful and happy. Jo is such a caring person this really comes across & makes you feel amongst friends."
